Believing we are all God's children, We seek to serve others, To be effective witnesses, and to transform lives for Jesus Christ.

Greeting from the Pastor

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”.   ~Matthew 28: 18b-19

Here we receive Jesus' “Great Commission” for His followers to "make disciples of all nations."  Discipleship means for us to live a transformed existence different from the values and norms of this world.  I don’t know about you, but I often find myself paying attention to all the wrong things in life.  Various temptations and distractions of this world certainly do not help me to focus on what Jesus would desire for us to focus on.

At Trinity United Methodist Church, we seek to discern the purpose of our lives according to the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Such discipleship calls all of us to reorient our collective vision away from the desires of our own hearts to the sacrificial and loving heart of Jesus.  Indeed, Christian discipleship is a life-long journey full of trials and tribulations that will constantly remind us of our dependence on God’s forgiveness, mercy, and grace.  But Jesus informs us that we do not need to journey alone.  Instead, Jesus calls us to dwell in God’s community and journey together as one family.

As brothers and sisters in Christ, we always walk together and pray for each other.  The richness of our family extends beyond our biological families into the greater baptismal family of Jesus Christ.  This family’s way of life centers on the life of Jesus who saves all of God’s creation.  Jesus’ salvation extends beyond the limitation of our own understanding!  We invite you to JOIN US on this wonderful journey of Christian discipleship and experience the love of Jesus Christ for yourself and your family at Trinity UMC.  We are praying for you.  See you soon!
